Donation To CM Fund

On the occasion of Hon’ble Shri Ranjeet Deshmukh’s 74th Birthday on May 29th 2020, in the presence of Hon. Working Chairman VSPMAHE Dr. Ashish Deshmukhand Dr Kajal Mitra Dean NKP Salve Institute of Medical Sciences & Research Centre and Lata Mangeshkar Hospital, a cheque of Rs. 74 Lacs for the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund-COVID19 was handed over to the Hon. Divisional Commissioner Dr. Sanjeev Kumar and Shri Abhijeet Bangar Hon. Addl. Commissioner, Nagpur Municipal Corporation. At the time Deputy Director of Health Services Dr. Sanjay Jaiswal and District Health Officer Selokar were also present. Dr. Sanjeev Kumar thanked all the staff members for their contribution towards donation of Rs. 74 Lacs for Covid-19 and wished many happy returns of the day to Hon. Ranjeet Deshmukh All the staff of NKP Salve Institute of Medical Sciences & Research Centre and Lata Mangeshkar Hospital, and other employees of Institutes of VSPMAHE contributed towards the noble cause. 190 beds of Lata Mangeshkar Hospital, Digdoh are reserved for COVID patients. It has 11 ICU beds. All the doctors, nurses, attendants and other staff are confidently providing their invaluable services to the patients in this difficult situation. Hon. Working Chairman Dr. Ashish Deshmukh asserted “We have to defeat CORONA, we will succeed”.
The Dean of NKP Salve Institute of Medical Sciences & Research Centre and Lata Mangeshkar Hospital, Dr. Kajal Mitra gave the introductory speech. He narrated the history of VSPM AHE and emphasized on the charity work done by the hospital. At this time, the founder of the organization, Dr. Bhausaheb Bhoge, Vice Chairman Dr. Subhash Deshmukh, Secretary Shri. Shailesh Chalkhor, Joint Secretary (Cdr) Dr. Natarajan Kumar, Vice Dean Dr. V. R. Thombare, Director (HA) Dr. Vikas Dhanorkar, Medical Superintendent Dr. U. J. Anekar, Dean of VSPM Dental College Dr. Usha Radke and other dignitaries were present. The event was held in compliance with social distancing norms.

NKP Salve Institute of Medical Sciences & Research Centre and Lata Mangeshkar Hospital Hingna donated a sum of  Rupees 7,31,376/- to the Government in the wake of the Coronavirus pandemic. Dr Kajal Mitra, Dean NKPSIMS & RC and LMH handed over the cheque to Divisional Commissioner Dr Sanjeev Kumar at his office in the presence of working Chairman VSPMAHE Dr Ashish Deshmukh. Three days salary was contributed by all the employees of the Institute, of which 74 lakhs was already donated previously.
