Central Library

The NKPSIMS &RC and LMH Library is a ‘State of Art’, spacious & well stacked Library spread over 33000 sq. ft. area. Open from 9 a. m. to 8 p. m .Outer Reading room of Library open overnight for students. It is fully automated Library with ‘RFID’. Total seating capacity in the Library is 743 with a separate seating arrangement for teachers, postgraduates & under graduates. The Library is centrally ‘Air-conditioned’.

Air conditioned E-Library with 70 computers is available. VCDs, CDs & DVDs on various medical subjects are also available. Library has an adequate stock of undergraduate & postgraduate text & reference books along with national & international journals in print & E- versions. Several magazines & 7 news papers are also available.

The Library is subscribing to ‘Clinical Key’ package of ‘Elsevier Health Science’ Which includes 600+ full text e-journals, 1000+e-books, drugs database, CMEs & other subject specific e-content from leading & reputed medical publisher like ‘Elsevier’. The Library is ‘automated’ with a management software named ‘Synchronik’.

The grand inauguration took place on 22/02/2021 at the hands of Hon` ble chairman Shri Ranjitbabu Deshmukh and in the presence of working chairman Dr. Ashish  Deshmukh, Shri Bhausaheb Bhoge-Founder Secretary VSPM ,Ex. Dean Dr. Gopal Dubey, Dr  Kajal Mitra-Dean NKPSIMS & RC and LMH , Dr. V. Thombare-Vice Dean  and other dignitaries
